Her story, in her own words.

I started out early on in life knowing this was the career I wanted to pursue, from asking for makeup and nail polish for Christmas rather than toys.

I completed the West-MEC cosmetology program while I was in high school, so when I graduated in 2014, my cosmetology hours were completed. A few months later, I was ready and scheduled to take my state board tests. I passed both tests the first time and was officially licensed in cosmetology in September 2014.

I worked a few random jobs because I was scared of giving this industry my all. I had a big opportunity for a different career, and before the second stage of the interview, I said a prayer: “God, if you want me to go on this path or the hair industry path, please make it obvious.” Long story short, I bombed that interview miserably and knew hair was the direction I needed to go.

I assisted a stylist for a year and a half and eventually started a salon with my mom’s old hairstylist. I started my business officially on October 2, 2017, at 21 years old. I stayed in that studio for six and a half years, and in March of 2024 I got my own salon studio.

Since having my own business, I went to barber school and got my barber’s license in 2021. I have gotten certified in Laced extensions and am Master certified with Bellami hair extensions. I now specialize in hair color and extensions. Through the years I’ve had many ups and downs, but my motivation, as well as God, kept me going.

My goal with my clients is to create goals with honesty, while keeping my clients’ dream hair goals a reality to the best of my ability. I want my clients to know that my salon is and will always be a safe place. And, of course, reminding them of their true beauty.
